For AV Integrators

Dealer-independent Crestron programming on subcontract

AV Coding LLC is a Crestron Service Provider (CSP) and Crestron Certified Master Programmer (Gold) based in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Integrators hire us as a programming resource—not as a competing dealer. We hold no dealer agreements and accept no manufacturer incentives.

Coverage is the Tri-State area (Connecticut, New York, New Jersey), with on-site focus on Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY. Remote programming covers platforms wherever your project sits. See service area for how remote and on-site work split.

The subcontract model

You keep the client relationship. AV Coding shows up as your programming bench: scope, SIMPL / SIMPL# Pro or platform-native code, touchscreen UI, commissioning support, and documentation your next technician can follow. The non-compete policy is plain: we support integrators, manufacturers, and service firms—we do not compete for your clients.

Engagements start with a written scope before code begins. You approve deliverables, timeline, platforms, and rate. Before final delivery you review interface designs and test working code. At close, licensed source goes to the client of record. Details live on how we work.

Source code delivery

Every project includes full uncompiled source under a perpetual, transferable licence. AV Coding retains authorship; the licence does not expire. Contact years later and the files are still available. That is the opposite of compiled-only lock-in—and the reason many integrators prefer an independent CSP over a manufacturer-tied shop.

Response time and how an engagement runs

  • Typical reply within 4 business hours.
  • You pick a time; AV Coding calls before the meeting so the conversation starts from your situation.
  • Scope, platforms, and deliverables are written down before programming begins.
  • Written audit report within 5 business days when the job is remediation or legacy rescue.

For undocumented systems left by a previous programmer, see Crestron code rescue. For independent audits your architect or owner can bid competitively, see AV system audits.

Platforms

Crestron control (SIMPL Windows, SIMPL# Pro, VC-4, CH5), Biamp Tesira, Q-SYS design and scripting, and Extron configuration. Multi-platform rooms with Crestron as the control hub are a specialty. Full platform matrix: services.

Who else we write for

Architects needing manufacturer-neutral specs: for architects. Universities, libraries, hotels, and municipal facilities: for institutions. Selected anonymized project stories: work.
